    combination of "vlookup" and "If"

    Hi everyone,

I want to do a "vlookup" to pick a value for a specific item. The challenge is that I have different value for each item. I want to write a formula, which vlookup column B, and pick the value which the value in Column C is the highest!

    So:
    Column A: item
Column B: the value which should be looked up
Column C: the criteria (I want the vlookup present the value in column B which has the highest value in column C)

If it is not clear, please ask me to explain it with the file.

    Best,
    Yekta
