Quick question on ratio?

I am having a hard time figuring out the correct function for ratio for this problem. I need to find the "length to width" ratio for something, with length being in cell E9 and width being in cell F9. I have done research and all of the functions I have entered come out wrong in comparison to the image I have to mock. It comes out at a ratio, such as 1:1, where as the image shows the ratio of cell E9 to F9 to be 1.24. Could anyone help me with this? Thanks!

E9: 124
F9: 100

This formula returns 1.24
G9: =E9/F9

Unless, maybe you want to show that value as a ratio. In that case:
• Select G9
• CTRL+1...Number_Tab
...Category: Custom
...Type: #.#\:1
...Click: OK

G9 will display as 1.24:1
