Averageifs() that doesnt skip zeros

Hey guys,

I have a function in an autoupdating spreadsheet that using averageifs() to average between dates. Right now it is skipping zeros or blanks. I need it to averageit all.

For example 7 days in a week the number is 0 for 6 days on 7 on last day. Now the averageif shows 7 as the average instead of 1 like it should be.


Any help as to watch the alternative is on this. I have tried to change all zeros to blanks or vice versa to get it to calculate correctly but to no avail.

AVERAGE(IFS) skips blanks as a matter of course, that's pretty much baked into the function definition.

Zeroes, though, by default are included.

So my guess is that whatever you've got in W8 is excludeding zero values, or something.

Can you post the spreadsheet? I can't speak more confidently without seeing what it's doing.

You are correct It was later in the sheet that converted the zeros to blanks. Once they were put back to zero it fixed.
