    Simple % calc....for some!

    Hi

I'd like to apply a % of confidence to an estimate. So for example if I have a 50% confidence then a 10 day estimate will increase to 15, if 90% then it will only increase to 11.

I have a field with 60%, and I can obviously use a second column to minus 60 off 100 = 40% and use that, but I'd rather contain the calc in one field

So if there is a confidence rating of 60% I need to increase the estimate by 40%

    =1+ (100-confidence) * value

    So 1+(1-0.6) * 10 = 1.4* 10 = 14

This works for me: B2*(1+(1-A2)) where B2 is the days and A2 is the confidence %
