Formula to return filename in folder based on partial filename

    Hi,
Here is the file path: T:\NEW PROJECT\INSTALL\EQUIPMENT\

Here is the file name: Equipment List v.092614.xlsm

I'm looking for a formula (not VBA or any other method), that will search that specific folder for a xlsm file that contains the words "Equipment List", and return the file name; in this case "Equipment List v.092614.xlsm". There is, and will only ever be one file in the folder matching these criteria.

The version number of the Equipment List spreadsheet is constantly changing, so I'm simply looking for a formula that can tell me what the 'latest version' is (the name of that specific file).

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

That is not possible without using VBA.

Grr, I already have a button & macro that does this, but was looking for a way to accomplish it without needing the button.

This is true; I just figured if there was an easier way to do it automatically, this place would know how.
