how can i get the result of counta function without counting the blank cells

i have to get the number of cells which contain the data. the range is the outcome of a formula. in between the range there is a blank cell. it is containing the formula. so the COUNTA function returns the result erraneously. i want the exact number of cells which contain the data only and NOT the formula. how can i get this? the sample file will tell the story. thanks

I'm not 100% sure, but maybe you could change your formula in C2 and copied down...

    =IF(N(B2),SUM(B2/20*100),"")

    ...then in C8

    =COUNT(C2:C6)

Are you looking for the result of 4 in C8?
