Correlation between variables in an array containing text, and another array

Hi there,

I'm struggling to write a function that finds the correlation between the variables in one array that contain the word "male" (specifically column H:H) and the variables in another array (specifically B:B) that correspond to the male criteria. In laymens terms, I'm trying to find the correlation between gender and how high a person's score is. My excel sheet is attached.

Any help is so so appreciated!!!
