copy and sum offset data based on text match

I'm converting a lot of quickbooks reports to a neater excel report. I need to copy some data and sum others (see attached example)
These reports may be for 400 people or 2000 so formulas need to continue as far as I drag. I can copy and paste values then filter for clean up of 0, N/A or whatever but doing this manually is taking forever.

Sorry for responding so late. The attached workbook should work for you. The only thing you will have to do "manually" is drag the right table's equations down when you add new data, but that is just for every new source name you add to the table. Let me know if you have any problems.

Re: copy and sum offset data based on text match

I kept getting an error about excel being out of resources and not calculating a formula. Also, the hours did not seem to sum and the OT did not copy (could be the formula it was talking about). When I copied and pasted real data below and dragged the formulas, it just copied the last entry over and over, though it did take the first name on the additional data and replace the first 'edited' entry name.

What hours didn't sum?...there is no hours table on your initial sheet. OT I had to guess on how to setup, since there was also no sample data given under that column. As for the data not updating when pasted in, as far as the example data you provided is concerned, it should update correctly, unless the resource error is an underlying problem throughout your entire workbook.
