Workbook updating every second and formulas

Hello Forum

I'm not an expert in Excel but can do the basics.

I have an open work book that is being constantly updated every second in real time, what I need is for Excel to take figure A, wait 2-3 seconds (this needs to be adjustable) take figure A again and display the difference in volume in the cell to the right.

Live feeds and Excel are not something I'm familiar with.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How about if figure A is changed, run VBA to do something like "display the difference in volume in the cell to the right"

Thanks for the reply, however assume my knowledge of Excel is at its most basic, I dont know how to start coding a Visual Basic for Excel.

Hi, Figure A would be changed constantly either stopping of going up.

Cant upload a work book i'm afraid neither have the access or the data feed.

In its simplest form (for argument we'll call it cell A1)

A1 total, timer counts 1 or 2 seconds, NEW A1 total - A1 total = display in B1 then repeat cycle.
