Lookup Issues

G'day,
I'm trying to create a profit tracking sheet with a couple of tabs, the first tab records all sales and prices and item. the item code is created in this sheet using A1&B1&C1 to combine certain attributes that identify it, this same code is in my stock tracking sheet just as an example 1942d6dRAW is one. in the third sheet i calculate or am trying to the margins based on the sale price minus the cost price using the item code in a lookup formula. Currently trying to get the formula below to work but its not and don't have any other ideas why it's not working or other ways to do it.
=(Sold!D6)-(LOOKUP(Sold!H6,Cost!$C$6:$C$32,Cost!$E$6:$E$32))

Regards

Geoff

Re: Lookup Issues

1st, you dont need the braces ()

2nd, try this...
=Sold!D6-VLOOKUP(Sold!H6,Cost!$C$6:$E$32,3,0)
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
