L4 might look empty, but it contains a space - delete that and the formulae will work.
Hope this helps.

Awesome. How did you even see that?
Well, I'd like to think that I have special glasses that enable me to see spaces ...
... but really I looked at your formula which was basically subtracting one value from another and returning #VALUE. This often occurs when you try to do arithmetic on a text value, so as I14 contained a number then L14 was the likely culprit. I selected that cell and then clicked in the right end of the formula bar - sure enough, the cursor was not at the extreme left of the formula bar, so there was a space in there.
Hope this helps.

I wonder if you might be willing to assist with one more step on this. Sometime stocks get split or reverse split. In this case on April 24th the stock was split 10:1 so the 40,000 shares at an average price of $4.335 becomes 4,000 shares at $43.35. Is there a way to incorporate this as a possible action? This would be really useful.
I appreciate your assistance.
