If the prize money is in A2:A20, in B2 copied down
=RANK(A2, $A$2:$A$20) gives the rank
in C2 based on a scale from 0 if you earned 0 prize money to 100 for whomever earned the most prize money,
=A2/MAX($A$2:$A$20)*100
Not sure if that's what you wanted.

Hi there,
How would one give a proportion out of 100? Lets say i wanted to wager $100 in total and allocate based on the scores that were previously given out of 100.
thanks,
Mark.
Hi Mark,
I like Pivot Tables and they have a feature of "Show Values As" that may do exactly what you want. See the attached where I've showed the two columns as
1. Percent of Column Total
2. Rank of Total

Is this what you wanted? No formulas involved.
