Hi I'm in need of some help. I'm not the most proficient at excel formulae but I'm sure this must be possible. I'm laying out a table to show personal sales performance as a figure in ex vat. I want cells to show when someone is on holiday too.
so for example
2 worksheets
inputs on sheet1 "inputs"
performance on sheet 2 "performance"
cell a1 on "performance" would read as "=Sheet1!A1*0.833333333333333" so when figure of 1000 is keyed into a1 on "inputs" then cell a1 on "performance" reads as £833 this will then highlight in a different colour depending if the figure is above or below target.
What I need to do is also be able to enter "HOL" in cell A1 on the "inputs" worksheet for it then to read as "Holiday" on the performance sheet which would then in turn highlight as blue.
