Hello,
I just want to compute the hours incurred in a day excluding from 12:00nn - 1:00pm which is breaktime.
For example:
Time in: 7:00 AM
Time out: 5:30 PM
Total hours incurred: 7.5 hours.
I have attached my file.

English is my 2nd language, so I may not understand something here, but from 7AM to 5:30 PM how do you get 7.5 hours?
I understood you need calculation of the time passed minus 1 hour lunch time which in this case is 9 hours and 30 minutes, right?
The formula could look something like this =HOUR(C5)-HOUR(C4)-1& " hours : "&MINUTE(C5)-MINUTE(C4)&" minutes"
The text in quotes can be adjusted to your liking

As per your example it will be 9.5 Hours
