    Problems returning a cells contents in a range of cells

    Hi All,

    I am having problems with returning a cell's contents in a range of cells if it exists.

    I have attached a spreadsheet for what I am trying to put together & I need column H to return a Yes if that person was present at any time during that month. The problem I am having is that my current formula will only return a Yes if they were present in the first week!

    I have looked through the formula list & have looked on the internet & cant find a solution.

    PLEASE HELP.

    I have just tried that formula and it returned a Yes even if none of the cells contained a Yes

    no it doesn't, but you say Month where is the month ? there are never 6 weeks in a month
    in your example only rows 8,34,35,36 do not have yes in them
