return single value based on multiple criteria

Hi

I have a couple of columns of data in my spreadsheet and I am looking to return the value from one of these columns based on a number of criteria applied to other columns.

I am currently doing this through a "sumifs" function so that I can set my criteria for different ranges, despite only needing to return a single unique value. Is there a better approach?
