    Lightbulb SUMIF and VOOKUP?

    1. I want to sum up invoice amounts in sheet 1. Problem is that same invoice has multiple lines and different dates. I want to sum up invoice amount based on dates. See attched sheet 1 example: Result I am looking for is in column E(Sumof INV AMT)

I have been using this formula to sum up but it sums all the amount for the invoice regardless of different dates. How can I add date criteria to the fomula?

    =IF(A3<>A2,SUMIF($A$3:$A$8,A3,$C$3:$C$8),"")

    2. I also want to match/join sheet 1 with sheet 2 again by matching invoice number and invoice dates. See attached example that shows the result of join/match.

Not exactly sure what you're looking for in #2. Are you going to list the dates and Invoice #, and do the lookup based on that? Or just looking to combine the summed lines of each sheet?
Please click the star (add rep) if I helped!

I don't think that I have picked you up correctly, but is this anything like what you want? Formulae in yellow cells.
