Need help checking multiple cells and increasing counter

I need help writing a formula that will check A2:A300 to find a name found, for example if the name is "Jim" and then count that and put the counter in J2. However, I need the Macro to also check Cells C2:C300 because in C2:C300 there's months. The counter in J2 needs to stop when the next month starts. The cells in C2:C300 are dated in the 11/19/2014 format etc.

Basically:

Check A2:A300 for a name
Check to see if the date in the corresponding C column(So if it finds "Jim" in A2 then it checks C2) is for November
Increase counter by 1 IF the Name is found in A2:A300 AND the corresponding C2:C300 was in the month of November(current format is 11/19/2014)
Put counter into cell J2

You can remove sensitive data, and create a dummy sample with expected answer you want.

Hi, you don't need to post a actual worksheet, You can Post a mock up version , Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.
