how to hyperlink to another workbook to a specific sheet but using a1 to define what sheet to goto.

What do you have in A1? Is it the full sheet name? If so you can try this:

=HYPERLINK("[C:\Users\osknows\Desktop\Book2.xlsm]"&A1&"!B4","CLICK HERE")
