Show cells between two times in excel

    Hi All

I have a sheet that ranges from 00:01am to 12:00am, what I want to do is have some kind of function where I only view cells that are for example between 07:00am and 13:00pm, is there a simple way to do this, or can I set two codes in a command button, say day and night, day = 07:00 - 18:59pm, and night = 19:00pm-06:59am, where when you click one of these buttons it only shows cells between those times?

Any help or anyone that could point me in the right direction with this would be great please?

    Thanks

    Dan

Assuming your data are arranged in a "list", my first thought would be to apply a filter to your data: https://support.office.com/en-us/art...rs=en-US&ad=US

Re: Show cells between two times in excel

    Hi

It is in a list an has a filter, but the format is dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss so it's quite tedious to select or unselect all that I want or do not want to see, and can range from 50 rows up to 500 rows

So was hoping there is a quicker solution?

It doesn't seem to me that you should need to select/deselect each individual record. In your "filter" submenu, if you click on "date filters", you should get another menu that will allow you to select "between" then a dialog that will allow you to enter the starting date/time and the ending date/time, and it should show all the entries that are between those two entries (detailed instructions are in the help file under "filter dates or times").
