Conditional formatting will work.. Can u pl share sample excel where u want to apply this.

CF is where you would do that.
1st format all cells red, then go into CF Choose New Rule/Use Formula
=A1>=0 format fill GREEN

You probably did not remove the absoluting from the cell ref =E2>=0 not =$E%2>=0
thanks, but I didn't want the block colored, I wanted the numbers colored.
