USING sumifs AND SUBTOTAL

HEY EVERYONE,

I HAVE A PIVOT TABLE THAT IS being filtered by a combo box. I am wanting to create a table to use with a graph that will correspond with the Month and Year selected by my Combo Boxes. I would like to sumif subtotal each column based on the month and year

Example in the pivot table)

column A-- amount
Column B- Amount Paid

Months Jan thru Dec
2013 and 2014

would like to subtotal column A based on Jan and 2013; Feb and 2013; March and 2013.. etc...



Any help would be appreciated

can you upload a sample workbook? why do you need to create a table to create a graph? would a pivotchart not work? hard to be sure how anything is structured without a sample workbook, so writing a specific formula would be very difficult at this point.

Thank you for the response.. I could have done a pivot chart if I did not have so much information. The pivot table if roughly 5000 Lines with 250 different accounting entries. I am only wanting to subtotal by month and year for each category (I have 8 categories.
