ActiveX Textbox Access

Hi y'all.

I having been trying to solve this conundrum for over a week with no luck. I need to able to include an ActiveX text box in a spreadsheet that is locked. This, I can do. What is frustrating me is this:

> I need to be able to have people copy the content of the text box so it can be pasted elsewhere as text.
> I need to lock the position of the text box so it cannot be moved or deleted.

If anyone out there has the answer to this question; I'm all ears.

hi mcdonalddc, welcome to Excelforum, either I miss something or it works as you want it to. Please check attachment, the sheet is protetcted with activeX textbox included. There is no password to unprotect it.

Thanks. Your attachment showed me that I was in Developer mode whenever I tried to highlight it!
