Segmented rounding????

So here is my dilemma,

I am looking to create a formula that will round all numbers from 150 to 950 to the nearest 50, from 1000 to 9900 to the nearest 100, from 10000 to 49750 to the nearest 250, and from 50000 to 99500 to the nearest 500.

Hopefully this makes sense

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

What about if i wanted it to automatically round up, i.e. 2310 would be 2400. Is there way to accomplish that?
