    Match if

I am trying to match the most recent location and employee from one sheet to another sheet based on another field (rig) for the most part it works but I have found some errors while working through it. Can someone take a look and see what is going wrong? I have listed a few that are wrong, although I'm sure there are more. I am using the same formula for both the District and Super fields. If I can get it working correctly I would want to use the same time of formaluyal for the customer field as well.

    thanks

    Re: Match if

The dates and times you have in column K are not all unique. In some cases, your MATCH is finding the first instance when it should take the subsequent value.

But they are unique to the rig though. I guess that doesn't matter. Is there a way to fix it? or a better way to go about it?

    Re: Match if

What you should do is eliminate the duplicate/older entries from the Hole Section Data so your formula doesn't need to deal with them.

If you absolutely need a formula, then in cell October A2 try:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
This is also an array formula, and will probably slow down the calculations alot, but it should work.
