    Simple Conditional Formating Help Required - If Blank then Red Bold text required

    Hello Friends



    My Requirement is simple. By using Conditional Formatting if the Cell L20 is blank then the text in the Cell N20 should be red (And bold if possible).

    The N20 cell carries a formula.

    Do you mean L20 is empty, or contains the word "blank" as in your example?

    Click on cell N20, go to Conditional Formatting, New Rule, select Use formula..., and type in this short formula

    =L20=""

    apply desired format and click Ok

    L20 is emply, the word blank is used just for illustration
