Change BG color based on certain values

Basically I have a list of employees and I wish to color their cells a different colour if they're on "Student leave"

The names are going from A12 down to A34 - I don't wish for those BG's to change.
The BG colors I wish to change are the cells right to the right of them, for example the first name in "A12" if on student leave then I wish for cells B12 to O12 to be colored a different color

However since a lot of my employees come in and work on occasion when on student leave, I wish for there to be a space, perhaps on a different sheet where I input the names of the people who are on student leave, which will automatically change their cells to a different colour, and then once removed from said list, their cells would change back to a default color.

Any help would be fantastic, thanks!

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

Thanks for a speedy response zbor!

    Please see attached.

I hope I've made it clear enough in the workbook
As you can see, I have a sheet called Names, where there's a list of all my employees, If "Yes" is written in the cell next to their name in the this sheet, then their cells in "BEFORE" will turn a different color (example shown in the AFTER sheet) however if it's displayed as "No" then their cells turn back to a default color.

It doesn't have to be done like that, if it makes it easier then I don't mind having a list of ONLY students in the "Names" sheet whereby only names in that sheet will turn the relevant cells a different color

If you need me to elebaorate more, please let me know,

    Thanks for your help bud.

Added list name: Stud_list and by this list you can VLOOKUP and use Conditional formatting to change color.
