How to remove duplicate data but leave the row with highest value from another column

Ok so say I have a spreadsheet like this:
    IMAGE1.jpg

And I want Excel to remove the rows where the NBR and CODE are duplicates, but I want the row that remians to be the one with the highest value in the REV column (the ones I highlighted yellow).

Any ideas on how I could accomplish this w/o scrolling and highlighting the highest values in a spreadsheet of thousands of entries?

    THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

    Let's pretend NBR = A1

    D2:

Is is an array formula confirmed with Ctrl+Shift+Enter.

    Copy downwards.

Select D2:D5000, copy, paste values to get rid of formulas.

    Filter D. Choose only "2"

Select A2:D5000, go to Cells->Delete Sheet Rows

Unfilter. All nonmax per duplicate lines are gone.
