How use INDEX MATCH formula across multiple excel sheets in separate folders

Hi There ,i hope someone can help me on this , i just cant seam to get it to work.

I have a time-sheets which is a monthly time-sheet and i have a main-sheet, that i want from every month's time-sheet to populate all the Projects that have been done over a period of a year .
The Time-sheets and the single Monthly sheet is in different folders so I'm battling to link to each other, is this even possible?

As a starting point, you could take a look at this. Take a look at columns GH & I on Master. This is drawing data from 3 sheets in the same workbook into a 3D array. You could try adapting the pathnames to suit your circumstances... The column to the right (L) assembles the 3D array into a 2 D array, which INDEX-MATCH can then work with.

    Hi Glen

Will this still work if i have different workbooks, i understand the idea if they all were in one work book , but how would i guide the formula in the main workbook which i named "Main" to read from a other workbook which are the Monthly time sheets example "Edwin_Jan_TS,Edwin_Feb_TS,Edwin_Mar_TS..." that are placed in a separate folder then the main workbook
