Question Embedded filter – multiple results list

    Hi all!

I’m trying to figure out how to apply some kind of embedded filter in excel. In a very basic explanation, I’m searching for something like the standard filter function but without pressing the filter button all the time…
In one tab I have a table with all the information for some machine parts: the compatible machine for a part; the part ID; the part name; the amount of components of that part. The thing is that for the same machine I can have multiple line results (a specific part is compatible with more than one machine) and due to this – as far as my knowledge goes - I’m not able to use a VLOOKUP.
I have a second tab where I want to have a “search box” where I can type the part ID and bellow that several result lines (with all the columns in the original table).

For example, when searching for the 920 machine, the result should give me 4 lines:
    Attachment 367667

    This is the file:
    Attachment 367668

    Can someone please help me?

This can be done, however both your attachments seem to be invalid. Can you try uploading them again? Click on Go Advanced below --> Manage Attachments to upload a sample document.

When you say you want to be able to search by machine model, does that correspond to Compatible Machine in your first sheet?

Yes! That's it! Everything is working fine except if I search for the last machine (99x). I even tried to change it in the parts table sheet, believing it was related to the letter "x", but still no result is found

My mistake, the range was a little off in one of the references. Check the attached, 99x now shows up.
