    Rounding Dates

I am a novice excel user so if my terminology is a little off I apologize. I have excel 2013 and need some help rounding dates. I have a formula in place, say in Column A, that calculates year, month, day off of a date in column B and column C. I now need to round this formula so it is only year and month off of column B and C. I am not sure how to go about doing this. Any suggestions? If additional information is needed, please let me know. Again, I'm very novice. Thanks!

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

    Re: Rounding Dates

Your request is a little vague and as Glenn noted, uploading a file could be helpful - examples of what you have and what you want.
But taking a guess and you can adjust this to the appropriate columns as needed... =MONTH(B2)&"/"&YEAR(B2) might work, it would take this 1/7/2015 and give you this 1/2015
