Use Excel to search, match and add?

Hello,
I would like to ask for your expertise. I have a spreadsheet with 2 tabs. Tab 1 has 1, 2 ... 10 on column A and A-J on column B (basically 1 A on Row 1 and 2 B on Row 2 and so on).

Tab 2 has 1, 2, 5, 6 on column A. Is there a way to reference Column A on tab 2 and search Tab 1 for it and output it? I want tab 2 Column B to show A, B, E, F.

Hope this makes sense.

Omg, that worked!!! thank you so much. can you explain what is the end of 2,0? I am getting a #N/A when i try to implement it on my spreadsheet.

Thanks for your help. I was able to figure it out. I had to swap columns B and A so that it would work for me. Thank you again for your quick response.
