I need the following help:
Populating A3 = If A2 is different than A1, then subtract A2 - A3, then multiply A6 * .65 to populate A3
Populating A6 = If A2 is different than A1, then subtract A2 - A3, then multiply A6 * .65 to populate A6

I know the answswer is 19.50 for A3 and 10.50 for A6.


A1 99.99
A2 59.99
A3 10
A4 19.50
A5
A6 10.5

You could work out a formula for A6, but this process would create a circular reference in A3 since it refers to itself in A2-A3 (when A3 is what you are populating). In short, that cannot be done, unless you put the formula in a different cell.

Thank you so much...I actually gave the incorrrec cell on the first question I had...I meant to say Populating A4. But, your example answered all my questions. This was very helpful and I appreciate it!!
