I have a data source that is basically a drop down list of name. In another worksheet (the same spreadsheet), i have to create a formula that will capture if task occurances were completed. For example, from the data source below Alan has completed his task "Completed-On Time", once. Complete- Late is zero and Incomplete is Zero. Please let me know if you have any suggestions on how i can create a formula that would automatically count Alan's tasks when his name is selected from the drop down list. Thank you very much! Miro

INCOMPLETE 0 If Name is equal to Alan, and if it is equal to Incomplete, count this task occurance otherwise don’t count
