How to start a series in a specific column

I've created different months (Month 1 - 36) in a dropdown box. Used the horizontal "Month 1, Month 2, etc" columnn headings as source to create the dropdown box.

I've calculated a sales projection based on input factors.

I want the sales projection to start in the month that I specify in the dropdown box:

    Example:

    Sales projection: 35,37,39,45,51,48,78

Start sales projection figures in selected month from dropdown box "Month 3". The sales projection figures should now start in column "Month 3"

If I change the dropdown box reference to "Month 4", I want the sales projections then to start in the "Month 4" column

Can you upload a sample document that reflects how your data is setup?

When you say you want to show predictions based on the month dropdown, do you mean you want the other columns containing the other months to be hidden - or is it an actual calculation you want to start at that specified month?

I've done the calculations in the boxed block. The output of the calculations is what you see in the above portion. The boxed block will be on another sheet. These outputs need to start in the specified month, according to the selection in the drop down box.

I'm still confused; so say Month 3 is selected. What is your desired outcome, and where exactly (cell reference) do you want the result? Do you want a sum of row 5 starting at the month that is specified in B5?

The outcome of the calculations is row 10. Starting with C10...

Where I specify the Month in the dropdown box i.e. "Month 3" cell E5=C10, F5=D10, G5=E10 etc.
    If I specify "Month 5" then G5=C10, H5=D10, I5=E10

If I'm understanding this correctly, paste this first formula into cell C5:

Then paste this next formula into D5, and drag across to fill:

    Will that work?
