Text in vertical row to be sorted horizontally in groups

Hello there,
I have the following data which I want to sort horizontally in groups by using IF function or whatever will do the trick:
I have over 1000 of these sheets and each contains about 80 entries.

B
P
B
P
P
B
P
P

I would like to sort it like this: "P" under each other until "B" is detected, then "B" under each other until "P" is detected etc.

I'm not following. It seems like the result, according to your instructions, would look like this:

Oh, I see what happened -- the forum editor eliminates consecutive spaces, so when I submitted my post, the result ended up looking like yours.
