Excel Conditional Formatting, quick Check formula does not work!

    Hi,

I have following problem and it is driving me nuts.

I did so much research however I could not find the right formula yet how to adapt on the problem in order to fix it.

What I like to do, based on the below chart, to use a conditional formatting check, which is allowing me to format all values directly, instead of doing it Cell by Cell.
The cells need to be highlighted either in RED if the price is lower the the "OWN" price month per month. The price of the OWN product is changing every month.

Anybody any clue how I can do that?

    Best

Select cell C4 TO C4 and put below formula in condition formatting tab and format as you wish
    =OR(B4>C4,B4<>C4)

    Hi,

It was a while before I found the simplest way - at least for me.

Select one cell and apply the appropriate CF using the Formula option. Take care with the absolute references. If you're using another cell on the same row as part of an If condition then make that cell an Absolute column ref, but a Relative Row ref.

Now when you start to exit the CF wizard when you come to the Apply To section select the whole of the range in which you want the CF.
