    Sick Leave date issue

    Hello,

This is my first post. I have looked for this solution and could not find it. So I apologize if i am posting in the wrong place.

    Problem is:

Sick Leave Start Sick Leave End # of Lost days
    01/01/2015 10/01/2015 10
    25/12/2014 not closed yet x

When calculating # of lost days i have put (Sick leave end - sick leave start = 10)
I know how to get it with Today() when sick leave is not closed (no end date)

    Problem:
how to combine these two for column of 30 people to get following calculation:
When i close sick leave to get number of lost days and when leave it open to get number of lost days with Today()?

Hope i was clear on problem.
I have attached the file as well.

    Hello,

    Try this

    Re: Sick Leave date issue

Hey guys, you are all great.

Thanks a lot, for your help. this one =IF(K2="",TODAY()-J2,K2-J2) this one worked like a charm.
    So did this one =IF(K7<>"";K7-J7;TODAY()-J7)

    Much appreciated.

    Haris,
