Hi!
I have rainfall data that was collected in 5-minute intervals. I would like to display this data in 15-minute intervals. How can I add three cells of 5-minute data and display the sums in a continuous list without gaps?

Hi. Assuming htta your data start in A1, try this out...
=SUM(OFFSET($A$1:$A$3,(ROWS($1:1)-1)*3,))
Drag down as needed.

Thanks for the reply, Glenn. It's very close to what I need. I need to add A1:A3, A4:A6, A7:A9, etc...
But that's exactly what it does... What makes you think that it doesn't?
Well, I'm getting a value of 0.1 in cells that sum three zeroes. The 0.1 is a valid value, just not in that sum.
Please post a sample worksheet. Are you SURE that the zeros are ACTUALLY zero, and not just formatted to show 1 decimal place?
Here's the Excel. I appreciate your assistance.FM-01_FlowData_Final.xlsx
Can you point me to a group of 3 cells that are zeros, but which sum to 0.01?
Don't forget: in your uploaded file, E1 = sum d1:d3, E2 = Sum D4:D6,etc...
I was mistaken, I was looking at the formula's actions incorrectly. Thanks for your help, It is most appreciated!
Maybe you're getting confused 'cos you have the 15 minute sums adjacent to the remaining data. Take a look at this...
Woo Hoo! Got there...
Nice! Thanks again!
