Need to pull data from one sheet to another

I want to pull data from one sheet (Sheet 1) to another (Sheet 2). On the new sheet (Sheet 2), I want to be able to select the "Mailing Name" and have the information associated with that particular "Mailing Name" automatically pre-fill based on the data from Sheet 1. Assuming I can use a filter, the goal is to be able to select from a drop down menu any "Mailing Name" from Sheet 1 and then Sheet 2 will pre-fill based on that selection.

Then I want to auto pre-fill the corresponding data into A1, B1 and C1 also on Sheet 2, which once I can get the data there, I should be able to figure that out.

Attached is an example of the data that I'm using... PLEASE HELP!!!

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!!

Hi and welcome to the forum,

    See attached.

You'll need to make sure all the column A labels are the same as the row 1 labels on the Data sheet - see A5 which I've changed. Once you change all the others then the column B values will populate.

Re: Need to pull data from one sheet to another

Good morning. So I decided to add additional columns before the mailing name. The formulas are still working, however, when I select the Mailing Name, it's pulling the wrong data. Example: Subject of Email on the Individual Sheet now displays the Date, the Date displays the Time...etc. Can you guide me where I can adjust the formula so that when I add additional columns, the correct data pulls?

    Thanks again!

    Hi,

Merely adding columns shouldn't affect anything. If you've copied and pasted stuff that may have done so.
Upload the workbook and I'll take a look.

I actually created a little workaround and added the columns after the "Mailing Name" column and there was no problem. The problem was only occurred when I added it before the "Mailing Name" column. Thank you for the quick response.
