Small and Greater date require according to the weeknum

    Hello Everyone,

I have a data in which column A contains Year, column B contains Week_number and column C contains Date. In column D I need a formula to track the 1st date _last date for the particular week number. for ex:- If I Select Week number 40, column D contains the date 28-Sep-2014 to 4-Oct-2014.

    Thanks in Advance

Your sheet and explanation don't match. Did you attach the correct sheet?

Do you mean calendar year or financial year? If FY, what months does it run from/to?
What day is the first day of the week... Sunday or Monday?
Exactly what is in column C - just a number (1, 17, 31, etc) or what?

Re: Small and Greater date require according to the weeknum

I interpreted a bit differently. As I understand it 1-Jan-15 is week #1 which would make the first day of that week number 28-Dec-14.

I also wasn't clear if you wanted results returned as text or dates....so I did both with your uploaded workbook. The resulting file is over

3 meg so I didn't upload that....but here are the formulas.

For text returns in D2 this and fill down:
    Formula: copy to clipboard
Please Login or Register to view this content.
For first day date returns this in E2 and fill down:
    Formula: copy to clipboard
Please Login or Register to view this content.
...and for last day date returns this in F2 and fill down:
    Formula: copy to clipboard
Please Login or Register to view this content.
    Does any of this help?
