Two drop down and hyperlink

Hello!

Im wondering how to set a hyperlink to a second drop down menu. And it goes like this. First Drop down menu Choses the category and in the second u chose item u want to view. And when selecting item in second drop down menu its should hyperlinked me to a place down in excel sheet. There would be alot of items in the second drop down and they vary by the category. Every category has their own items. Soo is it possible to add GO button and that takes u down to the hyperlinked cell?. If its possible please help me

Hi, welcome to the forum

Im not sure you can do what you want, with regular formulas, just by entering data into a cell and going to a location.

But you can do it with an extra cell and with hyperlink. See if this will help?

A
B
C
D
E
5
a xx a mm Test
6
b yy
7
c xx
8
a mm

E5=HYPERLINK("#"&"B"&MATCH(C5&D5,INDEX($A$5:$A$8&$B$5:$B$8,0),0)+4,"Test")

The +4 is to accound for hopw many rows down you start with your data
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
