formulas not transferring over to new page

I have had so much help on this forum before for the exact same issues with an excel book I use to calculate commission. It has been working fine for the last few months but now that I am trying to do January 2015 commission the formulas are somehow not working. I copied the formulas and formats from December 2015 and even though the formulas in the cells appear to be identical my first tear (below 30k in sales) is showing the same as my second tier (over 30k in sales). Please help excel friends

Re: Back with the same issue

Hi al,

After looking at your workbook for a few minutes, a formula refers to cell Q5. You have a number on your Dec 2014 sheet in Q5 but not on the Jan 2015 sheet. Could that be the problem?

Re: Back with the same issue

1st, Please take a moment to read the forum rules and then amend your thread title to something descriptive of your problem - not what you think the answer might be. (think google search terms?). Once you have done this please send me a PM and I will remove this request. (Also, include a link to your thread - copy from the address bar)

Many members search our previous posts, and thread titles play a big part of the search. I doubt anybody would do a search based on your title?

To change a Title on your post, click EDIT POST then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.

2nd, check the contents of Q5
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Formulas not transferring over to new page

I tried to copy and paste the same table I have been using for the past year to a new page for 2015 and despite the formulas looking identical they are not calculating correctly.

Re: Formulas not transferring over to new page

The layouts are not identical so there is no reason to expect formulas to work by simply copying.

Yes, that definitely has something to do with it however it did not solve the issue. Now everything says NA

The Q5 cell of January 2015 sheet is blank. Fill a value in it
