How to sub total with formula

    Contribution sum.xlsx

Trying to show sub total in F18 but not cumulative; only what shows as the last value in the column. In my scenario the last value is F11 and so F18 should reflect that. As I work down the column the value in F18 would change again.

    I would appreciate the assistance.

    Thanks.

So you want the last value to appear in Column F?
    Try this
    =INDEX($F$5:$F$17, MATCH(9^99, $F$5:$F$17))

MATCH(9^99, $F$5:$F$17 looks for the first number equal to or greater than 9 to the 99th power. If it can't find that number, then it returns the last number it encountered in your range.

This will return the last (bottom-most) numeric value in the referenced range:

    =LOOKUP(1E100,F5:F17)
