    HLOOKUP Problems with second table lookup

    Hi there;

    I'm having real issues drafting an automatic rota template for use at my work. The basic principle works, as can be seen in the raw data table. When a staff member is allocated to a shift in the first table they're hours are added to the breakdown. I want to do this with a second row, but the formula does not seem to work. As is illustrated in the Problem sheet. Is this a limitation of the HLOOKUP that it will only reference the first row, or am I doing something wrong with my formula.

    Thanks in advance.
