    IF formula problem

    This is J8 formula: =IF(J7>=250,"CLOSED",IF(D7>=250,"CLOSED",((IF(I9<1,0,SUM(J7+H9))))))

    J7+H9 returns some positive numerical value, or CLOSED upon data input. If it returns positive numerical value prior to D7 causing action to return CLOSED, and after future data input D7 value is >=250, we do not want it to change from its numerical value to CLOSED. And, If D7 reaches >=250 prior, we want it to stay CLOSED.

    Formula as written lets CLOSED override a numerical value. What changes need to be made?

    Thanks.
