Question HLOOKUP - Doesn't seem to like me :(

    Hello

I have been using vlookup for a few years. And have encountered for the first time a need for Hlookup.
But after toiling over it for hours ....am puzzled why it won't work for me

Basically I have an array on sheet 1 that I want to search for a string
this string comes from a listbox which refers to a list found on sheet 2 ..
and then if it finds this term in the row ..to return the email address ...also from the array

sounds simple? ..it probably is ....its just i have gone logic blind !
    LOL

Please see attached example ..i hope you can see what I am trying to do

    thanks in advance

If B2 = Jeans & Casual Wholesaler then what is the expected result of C2 ??

    Hi Fotis
    for me it doesn't
regardless of what columns (Cat's) are against a URL it returns the email address every time
and not for JUST the ones that include B2

    thanks 6thsense.
basically i wanted C2 to display the email field entry (far right of the array)
but only if it finds $b$2 in any of the columns for that entry

sorry ...does that make sense ?
