Formula Help for Copying Text to a cell based on Value

Good Day,

I have been looking for a formula to help me with my situation.
I am entering data into column Y in excel. I am entering either 1 or 2 into column y. Depending on the data in y, I want column U to display a certain text, for instance yes or no. Currently there is data entered into the cells in column U. I only want to replace the data in column U if 1 or 2 is entered into cells in Column Y.

For example:

U1 Contains the text "Yet to be verified", after entering "1" into Y1, I want U1 to display "Verified". At this stage I want to enter the formula in column AA. So for my example the formula would then be entered into AA1 for my example above.

Any help would greatly be appreciated
