    Formula Help...

    Hey There,
New to the forum, I use excel 2013...

I am stumped, I use the general formula for keep track of finances on a daily basis =B6+B28

However, I use B6/36 to U6/36 and I am needing B6 to B36 + U6 to U36 to add up automatically and I have no idea how to do it.

    Please help.

    Thank You
    - Benjamin

    May be this...?

    In U36 cell

    =Sum(B36:U6)

    Re: Formula Help...

    Hey There,
    Didn't work.

I have Cell B to U, Row 21 and 28 showing totals of expenses per day using AUTOSUM function.
    Example: Cell B Row 21 $210 & Cell B Row 28 $495

In Cell C Row 54, I need all of Row 21 & Row 28 from B to U to automatically add up, so I know what the total monthly expense is (just starting my first business).

I have everything working except this part, I can only get =B21+B28 or using the method above $-

I haven't had to do this as an employee for far too long, now required in my own business though, I have completely forgotten how to do it myself.

    Thank You,
    - Benjamin.

    Hi!!
    Welcome to the forum!!
So you want to add up cells in row 21 and row 28 from column B to U?
    Am I right?
    If yes try this
    =SUM(B21:U21)+SUM(B28:U28)
Otherwise please attach a sample workbook here with area to be summed highlighted.
You can upload a sample workbook by clicking on go advanced button below the typing area and then selecting the paper clip icon from the icons above..
