    Help with sum function on a column

    Hello

    Hope you are all well. Here is the issue and hope someone can give me a hand.

    I attached a file for this question.

    I have a column with numbers on every cell that belong to a range. Each range is separated by a blank cell. I need a formula I can drag all the way down, to sum all cells starting from the first range, sum up all values until right before an empty cell, get the total, then continue down start summing up the next range, and so on... I can do this by selecting the SUM(b4:b28), but each range could have more or less numbers down so I would have to manually select each range and use this function. The only thing that separates each range is an empty cell.

    Hope someone can give me a hand.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello again sourabhg98.

    Following your example file, attached on your post.

    ** Is there a way, maybe on the same column or another on the side, to have the result of each sum, to be right at the top, at the same level of the sku number instead of at the bottom.

    Let me know and thank you for your help again.

    Yes there is
    C2=IF(AND(B2="",B3=""),SUM(B2:$B$500)-SUM(C3:$C$500),"")
    and copied down..
    Change 500 accordingly to your no. of rows...

    Hope this helps!!
